Anne Askew - Ballad

I also really liked "The Ballad which Anne Askew made and sane when she was in Newgate"

My favourite lines were,
Faith in the fathers old
Obtained rightwisness
Which Make me very bold
To fear no world's distress

I liked that she had so much faith in God and in the afterlife that she had no worries about this world and the distress that she could encounter. That is perhaps why she was able to stay with her beliefs until her death. She knew that there was more to hear that this world could offer her. I admire her for her for faith.
